Hello new friends! *waves*
Hello old ones as well!
I've been out three times this past week. Once to get flour, once just to get t f out of the house, and yesterday to get a food shop in so I don't have to go out again unless absolutely needed (or for my Government Mandated Once Per Day Exercise™). I spent more than I should've, although it turns out a tenner of it was on things I didn't really need - a fancy easter egg for myself (it's coffee flavoured, how could I not!); some brush pens that you can use to watercolour with; and some Easter themed papers that are for origami, possibly? I'm probably going to use them for other things, tbh. One thing I've noticed with my eczema being hinky is that the joints in my hands are stiffer*, so the last thing I'm going to be doing is folding paper on a small scale. Upshot is, if I hadn't bought those things, I would've spent the usual amount of money on a food shop.
*I found out the other day when looking up about eczema that it and arthritis are often co-morbid. Which makes sense, I guess.
I also bought an Easter egg for my nephew, although I doubt he'll get to have it until after Easter, the way things are going. It's also my sister in law's birthday next week, and I can't give her a card or even go and see her.
I've spent most of my time cross stitching, or watching streams (or doing both). Yesterday, I did move some stuff around so I have a lot of sewing fabric downstairs now. I have a veritable mountain of evenweave, so I guess I should get started on figuring out the Ivalice map I was going to do a year ago, and get started on that, maybe? ;) (I do seriously want to do it, but I'm going to have to simplify the map I have, and then hope I have the right colours. But there's stuff I want to do before that, anyway). I even have a stand I can set it in so the fabric won't be as cumbersome, but I'm not sure where that is right now, and I don't have a pattern to work from, so I don't need to worry about it yet.
Anyway. Time for a brew, and pondering what to do next.
