long time passing

So for my birthday (which isn't till Weds), my mum agreed to put half the cash towards an X-Box 360. So that I could finally get to play FFXIII.

So far so good, right?

I get to Game, and I find me a console I like (a second hand one). I find a preowned copy of FFXIII. I buy said things. I take my 360 home. I put it on. It works, for the half hour I have before I have to get the tea on.

I go back to it later in the evening. I play FFXIII long enough to get past the tutorial battle, but in the following cutscene, the game freezes. I mash buttons on my controller. Nothing happens, so I switch it off. I switch it back on again, and what happens? I get the Red Ring of Death.

I was up for trying all the alternatives to fix it, which I have. And it's still red ringing. This is now three days later. Right now, I have a £100 brick sitting next to my desk in my room.

It was reconditioned, and QA'd a week and a half ago. IT SHOULD BE FINE. UGH.

Anyway, I'm taking it back on Monday, and saying I'd like a replacement or a fix, please.

(I was intending to spend the weekend playing FFXIII, but it seems like the universe really doesn't want me to. UGH).

I have also had a fairly crappy week, alleviated only today by a good night's sleep last night. The only good thing is that a) it didn't last that long and b) I noticed sooner than I might have previously.

I don't even. Hands up who thinks I should do a massive sketch dump on here? (Because boy, do I have some sketches to dump. Of course, if you're secretly stalking my sketch blog, then ignore that last question because you've seen it all already).
