grab your coat and let's get walking
I am approximately two thirds of the way through Killing Bono, and it is fucking slaying me. For the first third of it, I laughed so hard I think I sprained something ;)
It's not quite as funny now, which is somewhat of a relief, as I don't think my stomach can take it. I've had to keep reading bits out to my mum, though, as she wants to know what's so funny. So now she knows more about U2/Neil McCormick than she wanted to. That said, she did say earlier today that she thinks it's the best £8 I spent, as it's kept me so amused.
(Really not kidding when I say I'll read anything about U2. Most of the time, it's worth it. Though now I am considering the axe grinding doggerel that is the "definitive" biography. I might live to regret that. I'll get to reading it at some point anyway, even if I don't do it now).

Here's a meme I was thinking of doing anyway. I'm going to do it in five question batches like I did with the last music meme. I was going to do an all U2 version, but for some questions, that's literally impossible. So I'm going to give two answers for as many questions as I can, because I, uh, already thought about what U2 songs I'd pick.
1. A song you like with a colour in the title
Red Hill Mining Town (U2) | White Dwarf (a-ha)
2. A song you like with a number in the title
Hawkmoon 269 (U2) | 1963 (New Order)
3. A song that reminds you of summer
In God's Country (U2) | A Girl Like You (Edwyn Collins)
4. A song that reminds you of someone you'd rather forget about
The First Time (U2) | Sweet Child of Mine (Guns N Roses)
5. A song that needs to be played LOUD
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me (U2) | (ah stuff it, I'm having this for both answers :q )
