I have found what I think is the perfect podcast for me. I am listening to it, and giggling lots. I'm only up to the fourth episode right now, but I'm enjoying it.

What is it? Jay and Miles X-Plain The X-Men. (I have linked to the first episode there, in case you're interested). (It was originally Rachel and Miles, but you can find out why that is no longer the case from the the FAQ).

It's great if you like X-Men, but it's also great if you know next to nothing about them, too. There are 109 episodes at the time of writing, and they're half an hour long. IMHO, that half an hour does not drag. (That said, ep 3 is 45 minutes and I didn't even really notice until I was expecting it to end and, um, it didn't).

I found this while looking for ideas to podcast about (I still don't know!!) - I think the X-Men crossed my mind once, but obviously these two beat me to it, and know waaaaaaaayyyyy more than me about the comics anyway.

I haven't ever really listened to podcasts and always wanted to give it at least a try... this sounds like it could be fun... is it available for everyone? I mean since I'm in Sweden? But I guess that doesn't matter if it's online?!

No, neither have I. I keep wanting to find some, but I'm picky about subjects and voices (the last one I tried was Welcome to Night Vale which...didn't grab me for various reasons).

It should be available in Sweden! I've had no problems listening to it on either the site or via a podcast program on my phone. I'm in the UK, but I should imagine it will be listenable where you are. (I understand, though, because one of the things that makes me seethe is Youtube videos telling me they're not available in my country).

I know! I can't believe they've been going two years and NOBODY TOLD ME. I mean it's entirely possible no-one I know knows about it (esp not my friends who are also X-Men fans, as I'm not in touch with them any more). I only discovered it via (I think) a comment in a post about podcasts, so had I not been there, I would still be in ignorance. So I'm totally happy to share :D

Yeah! I actually am just finishing up the second episode and it's really cool! I like the announcers? podcasters? THE PEOPLE WHO DO THE THINGS hahaha

I like comics and I had a big stint where I read them A LOT but I have kind of fallen out of it! I had to cut way back when I moved out because of expenses, but I do have more money now? This gets me excited for it again!

It is! And yeah, they're so enthusiastic, I love it. I'd call them podcasters, maybe? I used hosts on twitter, but that was for space.

I love comics - I'd read them a lot more often but money issues and access (boooo). So I totally get what you mean.
