We were supposed to have epic thunderstorms today, but that has not happened (yet). Now it is just raining.

I have been playing Lightning Returns again! According to my save file, I hadn't played it since September last year (that's not as bad as sometimes). I am literally hanging around, waiting for the final day to get to the final boss. I keep accidentally acquiring side quests that, often times, I have no idea how to complete.

(I did not appreciate the one where I had to fight three behemoths, just to find out that fuzzy sheep lay eggs. I am no good at behemoths ninety percent of the time anyway, but having not fought any for exty months means I can't even remember what to do with them).

I suppose I could sleep through all the days remaining in inns, but where's the fun in that?

I watched some old eps of Buffy today! Seriously old. Like second series old. And I enjoyed them! And Xander is way less irritating than I find him in later eps now I'm older. (I used to really like him when I was younger, but now he just gets on my nerves).

I tend to forget that Syfy runs the eps pretty much all the time. They've probably gone through all seven series at least five times since the last time I watched an ep.

Now I want to write a magical girl story again.

Yeah, LR's structure leaves something to be desired, especially once you've got the hang of things and have knocked all the main story bosses out.

I keep meaning to watch Buffy, but never get around to it. I think that initial rush of "this is so intensely 90's" gets to me.

I can't wait for thunderstorm season to kick into high gear around here!

I feel like Buffy is a series where the concepts hold up, but the execution of them feels much more dated than I was expecting.

I adore them too! Ever since I was a kid, and our family used to sit out in the garage with the door open, eating ice cream cones during thunderstorms.

I think I only have the last 3 seasons of Buffy... so I haven't seen the really old ones in a LONG time.
