Ooh that was so nice! Finally I know what your voice sounds like. And I could understand most of what you said quite well, which is a relief, because some English accents are giving me a hard time. Mostly I just had to get used to which consonants are being dropped or stuff like the pronunciation of long o's (as in book) and when I had that figured out after a minute or two, it wasn't a problem anymore. Which is a relief, because we've talked before about how I'd like to visit you someday and now I can rest assured that my English is good enough. :D
Thanks for giving us these interesting tidbits about yourself, it was fun and lots of it was news to me. Btw I totally agree about the dance lessons, I had some as a kid too (only it was jazz, not modern interpretative) but I'm still an awkward non-dancer at parties or anywhere else.

I had honestly thought you'd heard my voice before (mind you, not that I've done so many voice things before). And I'm glad you could understand me! (mostly) My accent's weird, because it's not as strong as some people because of my mum's influence on it (she's from South Wales, so it kind of rounds out my vowels, or something).

(re: consonants being dropped: I always joke that in Yorkshire we're so poor we can't afford the entire alphabet ;) though that is probably true of most of what could be described as working class accents...)

Dude, if your spoken English is anything like your written English, then your skills are amazing. Seriously.
