I was in such a mood last night that I forgot to post about River. I think I might have to watch the episode again, because my mum talked over a plot point, and that made me mad.
What I think so far is that this is a slow developer. I have no problem with this, but I do wonder if it's so the BBC can commission a second series. I also think it's going to turn out that River is mentally ill of some variety, not that he actually sees ghosts (I only say this because there was definitely a point in the most recent episode where one of the ghosts didn't know something until he found it out and that, to me, points to brain problems, rather than the supernatural).
Also there was a bit that made me cry, and aaaaauuuuugghhhhh all the tears (although I'm feeling shitty anyway, as noted - though I'm better today - but I think a few people could sympathise with the bit in question).
Um. Anyway. I don't think I have anything else to say about it again yet. Might rewatch tomorrow and update this post or something.
