~ Everyone saw the the portent of the impending apocalypse eclipse but me, it seems (no way was I getting up at 3am for that - especially since we're in the bottom of a steep-sided valley, so likelihood of seeing it would've been nearer unlikely, knowing my luck).

~ Still arting! I did some painting this afternoon, and that was fun, although my posture is shitty, so I ended up with an ache in my side (this is nothing new, it's been happening for years. I sit weird, and I think it's so ingrained that I don't know how to fix it. Also I could probably do with a desk).

~ I made some chocolate chip cookies, which are huge and nice (though a little bland - they could've used more flavouring). I also made some peppermint creams, though I was impatient for them to set, but they taste OK!

~ Here is a short quiz to find out your plant personality type. I got Chamomile/Fennel/Nettle.

~ I got nothing else. What's your favourite Pokemon? Mine's Togepi.

I got the same herb combo as you, by the way. (Which sounds like it would make a good calming and fever-reducing tea.)

I missed the eclipse too but then again I wasn't trying to see it either. I live in the freaking woods and it was so cloudy anyway so not a lot of people around my area got to even see it.
