i love you all the same
I have done everything that can possibly be done in Lightning Returns. I have six days left over (I've used six already), so all I'm doing now is running around completing side quests (badly. Like, I really wish the game would drop clues as to the locations of some things with the harder quests but eh, I guess that's why they're hard). I have already made three species extinct (I kind of don't like that!) I've killed three cactuars, and they're too easy? The cactair was more like I expect cactuar fights to be, but overclock+army of one took care of that.
Earth Eaters are way harder when there's only one of you fighting.

I'm in a much better mood than the other day, although I'm still dissatisfied with tumblr.
I remembered that the Matrix fans I was friends with were chill and well-behaved, as were the X-Men fans I talked to. And the Hellblazer fans. And the FF fans I've known through my life have been great, too. So maybe it's just some people on tumblr? *shrugs*
(I'm still fucked off about not having any more DA:I DLC, though, because I've got a 360 rather than an Xbone. And I will not be able to afford an Xbone ANY TIME SOON so *flips tables*)
(Admittedly, I haven't bought Jaws of Hakkon yet, but my interest in that is waning because of the above).

For two days in a row, I went for a walk in the woods, in the same part of woodland. The first time it was because I'd had a banging migraine all day, and it cured it (probably distracted me from the pain). I took a load of photos. I stood by a stream, and listened to the water, and the wind in the trees. The second time I went because I'd gone to visit a friend, but they weren't in. I didn't want to go home because the weather was nice, and I thought I should be enjoying it, so I went back to the woods. And I took some more photos. It was really calming, and I honestly wish there was more of the woodland round here where I felt safe to do that (I only don't because I am unfamiliar with them), or that were as wooded areas (the nearest part to my house is too near civilisation, and I'm picky).
I also discovered some red brick ruins, and I'm going to investigate them one day when I feel a bit braver (they were a bit out of my comfort zone in location). There's only one wall, but it just looks so modern that I'm curious (there are older ruins nearby). I suspect it was once part of the farm it's close to, but I don't know for sure, and I doubt there's many people I could ask.

I found the entire game really fun (apart from Haven; the first time through the end of that part shook me up because I wasn't expecting it) - so much so I played through it another one and a half times straight afterwards. I had to force myself to stop playing (also I knew I wasn't going to get anything new out of romancing Dorian again, heh).
I don't even know what the official reason is for no more DLC for 360s/PS3s but it really makes me mad at Bioware. I was prepared for the game to be on Xbone/PS4/PC only, so it was a nice surprise when it wasn't. But having this happen is a little unfair, I think.

That said, yeah, the absence of banter...sigh. The only exceptions are banter segments that happen in main plot quests. So, I won't get any in the "open world" at all, but I'll get the ones that happen during, say, the sack of Haven, or the trip to the future with Dorian.

Here's a fix one of my friends had for fixing the banter pre-patch: http://mooglesforeveryone.tumblr.com/post/104520167579/beccatoria-mooglesforeveryone-poupage I don't know if all of it still applies, but it's worth a try.
It is a very pretty game, I agree. I love running around exploring and ignoring the fact that maybe I should be questing ;)

Yeah, I was thinking I'd end up with an Xbone and ANOTHER copy, just so I can actually finish the game (but that won't be for years yet, and I'm not getting a new copy of Inquistion after all this). And yeah, Jaws of Hakkon is...about something I really don't care about? I actually got more excited about the Descent given a) I don't like the deep roads and b) I'm not going to get to play it.

I'd honestly have thought I'd have accidentally heard interesting things about JoH by now, but nope, not a thing!

Ditto, and I was actually looking for spoilers!

I know! I mean, I know people are (mostly) good at keeping spoilers under wraps, but...there's, like, a complete dearth of them right now, which is really weird...
