Lost Odyssey!
I decided to install the fourth disc as the internets say that, as long as it can access the disc OK, once it's installed, there should be no problems playing. I don't think I'm anywhere near disc four yet - probably about halfway through disc three? But I thought I'd install it before I got there, because you only get the opportunity while playing the game to swap discs, not install. So.
It went OK, and installed fine! I checked the disc and it seemed all right, gave it a clean just to be sure, and then put it in. It was doing fine, and then went a little hairy at forty percent, and I thought it was going to stall, but it didn't! \o/
OMFG SED. His relationship with Seth is awesome and kind of heartwarming?
Also Jensen's crush on Ming is the best. It is SO CUTE I CAN'T. (also IDK but I think she also has a bit of a crush on him???)
I also love Kaim and Sarah's relationship ♥
I am definitely past the point where I stopped last time. I remembered meeting the fake king, and I remembered Kaim and Sarah meeting the real king, but after that is a mystery. I know for a fact I didn't get out of Gohtza last time (save file says so). Currently, I am at the refugee camp, futzing about (about to look for Kaim/Sarah - tried it, got killed by mooks. May have to level *sigh*).
Seeing Ming's flashback about Gongora making her seal off her memories seemed really familiar, even though I've never seen it before. So weird.
Convinced the one type of enemy was the inspiration for Forge in Paranatural ;) (I keep wussing out of tweeting Zack a picture and asking him if it's true. Actually, I'd like to ask him about a whole bunch of his influences for serious, but ahhhh mannnn. I just can't, you know?)
Finally, my mum finds it hilarious that this game is about amnesiacs, and I may as well have had amnesia, as I couldn't remember that much about it.

I may not understand the glut of dystopian YA SF, but I am totally into the story that's being told on

(I think I might make a list of daft twitters I follow. Because they are certainly daft).

halley:
Where I’m from: West Yorkshire, which is in England. I've lived here all my life, apart from two years when I lived in North Wales.
Where I would like to live: I would really like to live in Wales again, actually. I loved being able to see the sea from my flat, and going to look at the beach when I wanted. (I grew up in a valley, about as inland as you can get in Britain, so the sea was a novelty and wonder).
Favorite food: pasta, pizza, sweet and sour pork, cinnamon buns.
Religion: I don't have one myself (I was raised Christian but rejected it when I was a teenager), but I won't belittle anyone else for what they believe in. Who's to say who's right, right? If some day they prove a god exists, I'm not going to argue.
Sexual orientation: bi, although I'm way more picky about the women I'm attracted to than I am the men.
Single/taken: single *sigh*
Favorite book: My go-to answer used to be Good Omens (by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett), but now I don't know so much (repeated tries to read it have ended badly). Which is not to say it's a bad book, it isn't. It's certainly an amusing view on the apocalypse. But I don't know that I have any others... :(
Eye color: brown.
Favorite movie: Back to the Future, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
Favorite TV show: FARSCAPE! IT'S JUST SOOOOOO GOOD. One reason: ladies are amazing, never screaming damsels in distress (well, hardly ever - Jool tries her best to be one but improves). Also the Australian sense of humour is whacked and it's great (but it's my sense of humour, and so I like it). And Henson puppetry!
Favorite band/singer: a-ha, U2, Queen, The Police/Sting, Annie Lennox, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong.
Favorite holiday of the year: I don't have one?
Favorite color: blue!
If I have any pets: a cat
What I’m listening to right now: a programme about the Great American Songbook, current song is The Way You Look Tonight.
Last movie I’ve watched: Oh goddddd, I don't know. Oh, OK. Apparently, it was Dream House. It was so-so?
What’s my ringtone: Buy Somethin' Will Ya? from the Earthbound soundtrack (it's the music that plays in the drug stores, weirdly? ;) )
Favorite male character from a TV show: John Crichton (Farscape). I'm not just saying this because I mentioned Farscape above, I'm saying it because I honestly can't think of another one. Though see the answer below...
Favorite female character from a TV show: why can't this question be about video games because I can do video game characters much more easily. I don't watch TV. UGH *drags hands down face* OH WAIT. Arya Stark and Brienne of Tarth are both tied for most fave (and I can totally have them because of Game of Thrones).
Favorite superhero: Batman
Celebrity crush: OH GOD WHERE TO START. My most recently acquired one is James Norton(ask me how conflicted this made me feel at the time) but honestly GEEZ I HAVE A LIST AS LONG AS MY ARM.

-I have not watched Back to the Future in an sadly long time.
-Is that the Dream House movie with Daniel Craig in it? I can't remember it but I know I seen it. It was definitely so-so.
-*Googles James Norton* Yo, he's hot.

- I haven't seen it in a few years now. I am the worst fan ;)
- Yes it is, and wasn't it just? (that said, I don't mind staring at Daniel Craig so it was kind of a win??)
- ISN'T HE THOUGH. I MEAN LIKE, DANG SON. Also sniggering like a nine year old at "googling", because I always do, because I am immature.

That's what I always say after watching a so-so or straight up cruddy movie, "at least it had *insert attractive famous person* in it."
lol.

Welllll, if *famous attractive person* was in it.
