Mum and I watched Dream House this morning and it was...okay? I didn't feel it was bad (I know what my levels for bad films are, and this did not hit it), but I think it could've been done better. I explained the entire plot to mum in one paragraph better than the film did. I did like that Daniel Craig's character didn't spend the entire film going, "BUT I DIDN'T KILL MY FAMILY!" *wangst* "YOU KNOW I DIDN'T!!!11!" and was actually pretty convinced that he probably had. I mean yeah he wangsted, that was pretty much the entire point of the film, but without protesting his innocence all over the place.

It was pretty funny though, because mum taped it a bit since, and then said, oh had I heard of this film Daniel Craig was in? (since she knows I have a crush on him). I said I did, and then was all, OH THIS IS THE ONE DINGSI RECCED ME A MILLION YEARS AGO THAT I STILL HAVEN'T WATCHED. And lo, we eventually watched it.

I went for a mini walk earlier, maybe about a mile and a half, two miles max in a circuit (I don't really know; I'm guessing by how long I know it takes me to get to a certain location. Maybe next time I'll take some sort of distance tracker or something). I really like walking, but I don't go much by myself because bad hips, moorland, potential death traps, etc. But I stuck to a route I know is safe, and I really enjoyed it!

I took some photos, partly to upload to tumblr, and partly so I can kid myself that I'll do landscape studies from them.

I saw loads of birds, two cows, approximately one butterfly, and a child I didn't know said hello to me.

Also don't do what I did, and decide to walk on a muddy hillside while wearing leaky shoes. (if you wonder why I call my one inquisitor my son, this is the reason. Because we're both awful at making good decisions).
