questions 21 - 25:
21: How old were you when you first played a video game?
I answered this yesterday! I was five! I played Parsec on a Texas Instruments...thing.
22: If you could immerse yourself in any game for one day, which game would it be? What would you do?
ROTFLMFAO. Final Fantasy XII. Because Ivalice. Also Basch. Gabranth. Balthier. Penelo (and others!). I would probably sit in a corner crying, or hide behind Basch a lot (but, you know, there are worse places to hide), and generally prove I'm not cut out for a land where the wildlife is actively trying to kill you.
Er, assuming you mean not playing it all day, but I'd still probably pick that because OMG IVALICE, etc etc.
23: Biggest disappointment you've had in gaming?
I don't know? I don't really know what this question means. Is this where I'm supposed to rant about how much of a cop out the end of ME3 was (I didn't think it was). Or how boring I think DA:O is compared to everyone else who thinks it's the best game EVAR?
NO WAIT. Gooberboobers. They're a big disappointment. And I can't believe they still think they're relevant. I think they've gone way past flogging a dead horse (though that happened about a month into this whole thing, if that). I just. I can't believe they haven't given up yet (oh, but they're all hardcore gamers, right? Giving up is for wimps, right?!)
(And I hate that two of their (supposed) spokespersons are British. It makes me ashamed, and want to say, "They're not representative of my country!" Except they probably are *sighs*).
24: Casual, Hardcore, or in the middle?
Yeah, 'cause let's try to pretend like this is an actual thing. IT'S NOT A THING. Just because I don't spend 18 out of 24 hours glued to a console doesn't make me a "casual" player. Just because I can't afford or don't want all the latest games/consoles/whatever, that doesn't make me "casual", either. I hate that this thing exists and that arseholes use it for gatekeeping (which, if you think they don't, I'm sorry but you're wrong).
25: Be honest; have you ever used cheats (like ActionReplay or Gameshark)?
Nope! I could never afford a Gameshark and, cheating is well, cheating. It kind of takes the fun out of the games. Unless you're playing Alien Trilogy and are shit scared by everything, in which case an invincibility cheat is fine (though that was an input one, not via add-on hardware).
