So today, aside from writing a butt-ton of stuff (and other stuff), I have mostly been reading about Attack on Titan. Because I have no desire to watch it, and I wanted to know what it was about. And wow, actually, it's really interesting. I like the writer's ideas! I still have absolutely no desire to watch it (although I am going to listen to the soundtrack because
kotetsu recced me a couple of tracks in my last entry*, and I see it is the same guy who did the KLK soundtrack. So I will give it a listen because of that, and also Gratuitous German**. I am always up for that).
So that was a thing.
Also I am itching to share this story with someone, but it's all handwritten and completely non-chronological because that's the way my brain works and I've always written so pity the poor fool who finds my notebook after I'm dead is what I'm saying.
I daren't type it up yet in case I lose interest.

*I was asking for boss music/fight scene music for writing inspiration, and if you have any, you're totally welcome to add a comment either here or there :)
**My story is Gratuitous German: The Story. No. Really. I'm thinking of changing my story tag from the current one about abominations to this because it's actually more accurate.

For me, there's lot of little things I like about Pacific Rim that are beyond the main story, like the colours in scenes, and Mako and Raleigh's bond with each other. I'm certainly not running around claiming it's the best film I've ever seen (because it isn't), but yeah, I think it's the other stuff beyond the kaiju and the huge mecha that make it likeable.
