The weather men are predicting -4 over night. They're also predicting snow. Have I mentioned recently that I don't like winter?
(Actually, I do, when it's cold and bright. Snow, I can live without. I had several bad encounters with snow/ice balls as a child).
Mum's supposed to be going to the dentist tomorrow, but I doubt it's going to happen, especially if we get snow/ice/cold combo.

Getting pretty close to finishing my first commission. Which is good, 'cause then I get paid. And then I get to start on another one, which I am pretty much going to have to work on over Xmas, as it requires extra parts (means more cash, though. YAY).
Talking of which, I will be shutting my Etsy store over Xmas, from the 17th, until 2nd Jan next year. So if you want to buy something from me (or ask for a commission), you've got a week and a half (roughly).

I have no life, so I'm going to browse Ravelry (maybe), and go back to designing things with bulbous noses, because I got inspired while watching Howl's Moving Castle earlier.

We've had two bad winters in a row, but the weather here is...probably less predictable than in Iowa? (By which I mean we don't know that it will or should snow every winter). The temperatures have been stupid, though, swinging between pleasantly warm and now, finally, actual winter ones.
