I was unable to nap this afternoon, so I plugged the Xbox in, and continued (after a shocking EIGHTEEN MONTHS!) the playthrough with my first ever Shep, Nev. I had no idea where I was, or what the hell I was doing.
Suffice to say, everyone's so over-powered by this stage that when a powerful enemy appeared, I didn't even see her because Liara and Kaidan blasted the crap out of her before I could even raise my gun. (No, really).
So now I'm just pootling round the galaxy, seeing what needs doing, and avoiding any planets with Thresher Maws on them (even though Nev's game is the one where I killed my first and only Thresher).
Eventually I will take her into ME2 (where she, like Zoe, will more than likely remain faithful to Kaidan because, I am sorry, none of the other LIs do it for me). I did start ME2 with her once I'd finished ME1 for the first time, but it was too weird, and I didn't like it, and blah, and long story short: I'm going to start over.
Then I will get ME3 for Xmas, and YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.
(I WILL get ME3. No questions asked. Whether I have to sodding buy it myself (I hope not), or someone gets it for me).
(I also forgot that Nev has terrible duck face - as does Zoe, but hers is not as bad, since I evened her out - and it makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. Poor Nev).
OH OH AND! I gave Kaidan Colossus armour for the first time, and it's got little flashing lights! I don't know if it's because of one of the upgrades, or if it does that all by itself (as far as I'm aware, Shepard's doesn't). Anyway, easily amused me is easily amused.
