I had a thing here that I was DEFINITELY going to post. I'd been thinking about it for several days. I was actually...not excited...but I definitely wanted to do it and get it over and done with.
I just deleted it and wrote this instead.
One day, I'll post it, but it ain't going to be today.

Meanwhile, in the mists of time:
UGH FUCK YOU GRAVITON CORES.
This quest is, possibly, even more irritating than the Derelict Reaper in ME2. I say this because, while the Derelict Reaper can be done with persistence, looking for Graviton cores is likely to drive you insane.
You see, they are invisible.
Sort of.
See, you can do Mog Magic, which is where you push the right button, and Mog twirls around, and reveals hidden things. These things are visible, but they are rendered as transparent, and are mostly only visible from a certain angle.
It's not so bad with treasure spheres. They're spherical, and rather large.
Graviton Cores are about a third the size, thin, and mostly visible when the camera's at a high angle.
I ended up resorting to looking on the internet to find the required number after spending most of yesterday looking for them. What galled me even more was that, at one point, I'd been fucking standing right on top of one of them in Academia 400 AF and then I'd left because there was obviously nothing going on there. But I hadn't seen it because of previous problems.
ARGH FUCK YOU, SQUEENIX.
That's not how you make a good quest.
I dread to think what the other two are going to be like (I assume I'll need Wild Artefacts to access the gates for the specific time periods).
Now currently in New Bodhum 700 AF. Episode 5, if I remember correctly. Handed Caius his ass on a plate twice in a row, which was nice, after that first fight that's actually impossible if you use the wrong strategy. Also busted Gogmagog, mostly with Serah's Ultima Arrow skill while he was staggered, which was fucking AWESOME.
In other news, throwing Mog about is hilarious, and Serah is still awesome.

Got reeeeeeeeally bad insomnia again. Sleeping when and if I can, working around those times. Want to curl up in a ball and not get up again till spring.
