I finally finished Orzammar last night. I am SO done with that place! (Hopefully, by the next time I play, I'll have all the DLC and I can pick Shale up before I go there).
I got Sten his sword back, which was both hilarious (in the reaction of the person possessing it), and touching (if you go to camp afterwards, and talk to Dog, Sten and Dog have a conversation about weapons that are a part of them and, and, *sniffle*)
And then I encountered Taliesen in Denerim while Zevran was in my party and, um, he ended up dead. FOR GOOD.
You know, I'm not really that keen on Zevran (I mean, I don't hate him, but...anyway), but his dying for good there was a shock. Like when Ashley died in ME1. I suppose it's because you get used to having them around, whether you like them or not.
Apparently the reason that happened was because I hadn't spent enough time talking to him/giving him gifts, so therefore, his approval rating was high enough. I thought about reloading my last save and undoing it, but since that was ages back, I decided not to. Also I thought it would be good to, you know, live with my mistakes.
I also think my PC (male elf, name of Julius - since I haven't mentioned it before) will end up romancing Leliana, more by accident than anything else. (Well, it's like this - my only other option is now long gone, and I'm not romancing Morrigan because I just don't like her at all).
I am now in Denerim (as mentioned), running around the Alienage, looking for elves. Hmmm.
(Is it wrong that I can't wait to finish the game, and download Darkspawn Chronicles so I can go and mess shit up? Seriously, I bounce every time I think about it).

Back to work tomorrow! I have lots of lovely clean fabric to iron. I am...ambivalent about this.
