Things I did not include on the influence map, but might have had I had room (fuck, verbs!):

~ Tetsuya Nomura* (that man is responsible for more than he will ever realise)
~ X-Men (in all flavours, except Evolution, but we don't talk about that in my house)
~ Mayans and Aztecs (and probably Incans, too)
~ Fairy Tales
~ Vidya games (many and various, although I'd probably go with Final Fantasy*; I was tempted to put some Megaten* art on the one I did do, but I couldn't remember the series' artist's name (for shame) and it's also only a very recent influence)
~ Yoshitaka Amano*
~ Julie Bell (to some extent, although not as much as she used to)
~ ...aaaaaaaaand some other stuff I have forgotten about, but will probably remember as I'm drifting off to sleep.

I'm aware this stuff doesn't so much show up in my art as I've noticed it seems to with other peeps off dA who did this. BUT. That doesn't mean it's not an influence (I'd love to know how you show music as an influence anyway, aside from titling stuff with titles from songs). Also one day I am still going to do a picture of physics. I just have to work out how the hell to do it.

*See, this is what I mean about Japan taking up most of the meme. Besides those two jokers, there's Hokusai and Hiroshige, and a whole other bunch of printmakers from the 1800s. Then there's samurai. And Noh. And anime. And manga. (Both of which can be split into specifics, but we ain't got all night). And geisha. And Shinto shrines and music. See, see! That's just off the top of my head, and that's the entire meme filled again already!
