Right, I'm going to post a bunch of questions (I did not invent them; I am useless at asking questions). They're supposed to be a 30 day+ meme, but I want to answer them all at once. Because I'm like that (and since I try not to post in the week, I know I'd forget. Anyway, you don't really care, right?)

My answers:
Day 01: First Final Fantasy game you played.
VII. I'd wanted to play it for what felt like centuries (after having a little dabble with it when I was doing A-Levels, but I never really remembered that. I didn't get far then). I am so glad I liked it, because I'd have felt so let down if it was rubbish after all that time (roughly seven to eight years since it first came out).
Day 02: Who is your favorite male Final Fantasy character?
Basch! ♥ I feel like I should say Auron, but no, Basch wins. Sorry. (Although Auron comes a very close second).
Day 03: Your favorite female Final Fantasy character.
Rydia! She is kick ass, pretty much.
Day 04: Which Final Fantasy game do you think needs to be more popular?
*shrugs* Aren't they all really popular? Probably more so in Japan than Europe and the US (obviously). But I don't think there's one that doesn't have a decent sized following even over here. Maybe X-2. I have a ton of complaints about it myself, but on a very shallow level, it's awesome for playing something you don't have to think about too hard (also it's an all-girl team! Who are awesome!)
Day 05: Final Fantasy you’ve played most recently.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. Talk about addictive. OMG. Well, I had when I started this meme. I am now replaying FFXII for, like, the bazillionth time. By the time I actually post this I might have started my FFVII replay (I haven't. Yet).
Day 06: Favorite Final Fantasy game. Why?
IV. I like all the characters, and I never get sick of it no matter how much I play it. Also, like VII, the soundtrack is something of a comfort blanket. Or I could cheat and say all the Ivalice Alliance ones. Yes, even A2, as much as it annoys me.
Day 07: Your favorite Final Fantasy pairing.
Basch/Penelo. Rydia/Edge.
Day 08: Favorite and least favorite version of Cid.
Hmm, at the risk of this turning into an "I ♥ FFXII", I think Cidolfus Demen Bunansa is my favourite Cid. It did used to be Mr Highwind, and I do still like him a lot, but Bunansa Sr. is batshit, and that wins hands down every time.
I don't think I have a least favourite? I haven't played enough of VIII to know whether or not I like Cid in that or not (and I don't hate any of the others).
Day 09: What is your favorite song featured in Final Fantasy?
The Final Fantasy Theme - usually used for royalty in the series. It sounds so regal and like a national anthem that I want to stand up and salute every time I hear it, no matter what, and no matter where I am.
Unless you mean one with actual words, in which case it'd probably be Suteki Da Ne (which is in X; I also like The Scenery of Spira a great deal primarily because it's an instrumental version of said song).
Day 10: A Final Fantasy related image that makes you sad/angry.

Day 11: A Final Fantasy related image that makes you happy.
Anything with judges in it c: Or Basch. Do I have to give specifics for this, because I can't.
Day 12: A piece of Final Fantasy related fan-art.
One I did myself or one I like? Ugh, but that means finding links...(and I am lazy). Ask me again some other time.
Day 13: If you could be inserted into any Final Fantasy world, which would it be?
Ivalice! (Like you didn't see that coming). Gaia would be pretty cool, too, because then I could explore Midgar some more.
Day 14: Part of a Final Fantasy game that made you emotional.
When Red XIII finds out that Seto didn't abandon him and his mother after all. Never. Fails. Or if you like one that just triggers an emotion (rather than outright tears, as with the previous example), then the moment AVALANCHE finds out that Shin-Ra's basically been slaughtered overnight. That never fails to give me the chills.
Day 15: Favorite villain.
Kefka. I mean, sure he's scary as all get out, but...I guess that's why I like him?
Day 16: A Final Fantasy related fan-site/blog.
I like the Final Fantasy Wiki a lot c:

I am tempted to go with VII because it's what I first learnt, although I actually quite like X's, because of the ability to swap characters in and out during fights. And also because you are then not stuck with Tidus all the time (reminds me, I need to get back to my Yuna solo challenge).
Day 18: Which leveling system do you prefer?
I quite like X's, with the ability spheres (and the fact that once the entire grid's unlocked, everyone can learn everything, lol. Although I've never played it for that long). But because I started off with the games with traditional levelling, I find it quite weird that, while the characters advance in skills and stats, they don't have a level at all.
Day 19: Favorite Final Fantasy constant. (Moogles, creatures, summons, ect.)
All of them? ;) Moogles foremost, I guess. Then summons. Then monsters/bosses.
Day 20: If you had the chance to jump one characters’ bones, who would it be?
Basch. Oh come on, like you didn't see that coming.
Day 21: Two characters that you think should have, but did not, end up together.
Basch and Penelo. Like you didn't see that coming, either.
Day 22: Character and/or game that you have grown to like.
V. I absolutely hated it the first time I played it (partly because I had no idea how the job system worked AT ALL, having never played one with jobs in before). Now I like it better. Also it has Faris, and she makes everything better.
Day 23: What is your least favorite Final Fantasy game? Why?
II/III. I can't make II work in my favour, and while I realise it's easy to break very early on, I don't have the patience. And as for III, I've only ever played the DS version, and I do not like it at all.
Day 24: If you have played Final Fantasy X-2, what is your favorite dresshpere? Or, what is your favorite job class.
Urgh...good question. Dark Knight is good, although only up to a point. It's been a while since I played, so I'm not sure about the others. I also like Warrior (probably because it's Paine's default).
As for my favourite job, probably something in the Knight category, but maybe also Black Mage and, of course, Summoner.
Day 25: Your favorite battle party from your favorite Final Fantasy game.
IV is predetermined, so I don't think that counts? (But I do like the final line-up a lot - which is Cecil, Rydia, Edge, Rosa, and Kain). In X I like using Auron, Rikku, and probably Wakka the most (and Kimhari, but apparently I shouldn't admit to that online?) In XII, it's Basch, Penelo, Balthier (or Fran, as needs be) all the way (well, it would be if they were available from the start).
Day 26: Which character would you want to have as a best friend?
Possibly Rikku, because she actually seems quite sensible (even if her dress sense isn't ;) ) and I am sure she would know how to make me smile :)
Day 27: Favorite limit break/overdrive/ultimate attack.
Auron's Shooting Star Overdrive is quite cool. I mostly use it on Tonberries and Zus. Cloud's Meteorain limit is nifty, too. I can't think of any others because my mind has gone blank and anyway, this was supposed to be my most favourite.
Day 28: Favorite Summon?
Bahamut (esp X's version with his rainbow wings), and probably Ifrit, too. I think their designs are awesome (also they're the two I have figures of). But I like all the summons, really. I like their designs, and what you can do with them.
I also like that there are three(?) different versions in FFVII (it's been a while, m'kay?)
Day 29: Game you’ve spent the most collective hours on.
XII. I have one file that is close to 100 hours just because I spent a million years fulfilling as many hunts and sidequests as I could. There's another that's close on 70 hours, too, for much the same reason.
After that it would probably be VII.

Day 31: Favorite/least favorite boss fight.
I don't know if I have a favourite...I don't really look forward to any boss fights, if that's what you mean?
On the other hand, here's a couple of least favourites: Elder Wyrm (XII) and Atmos (V)

I am ashamed to say I've never really got the Ultimate weapons in most of the games. I got Tifa's and Barret's in VII, but nobody else's in that game or any of the others.
Day 33: If you got the chance to ask the Square Enix industries a question about Final Fantasy, what would it be?
Why did Fortress get cancelled and please can you reinstate it?
Day 34: Favorite spell.
I'm quite fond of Gravity when it works correctly (i.e. by reducing HP by a stupid amount, rather than like, a quarter or not even that). I also like blasting people with Thunder/ra/ga (shame there's no access to a -ja version for mere mortals. Bet that hurts).
Day 35: Who is your favorite secondary/supporting character?
Penelo. I mean, yeah, she's got about as much backstory as my little finger, but I really like her. Plus she's an awesome healer and an awesome fighter. I am currently using her as a tank, and she's pretty damn good at that, too.
Day 36: To be anesthetic, which Final Fantasy characters’ outfit is your favorite?
I think that should be aesthetic, dear question person. Otherwise, I have absolutely no idea. I think I'd be quite enamoured of Yuna's X-2 costume if that half a skirt didn't look so damn ridiculous. I like Rikku's scarf?
Day 37: If you could add a sequel to any Final Fantasy game, which would it be and what would you have happen?
*shrugs* Most of the games I'd want a sequel to have them (although to be honest, I'd actually prefer Revenant Wings to a) not make everyone look like they're 12 and b) not be a tactics game. I suck at those!)

GILGAMESH! Oh, wait, I already did that. Hm. Shiva! She is female and you really wouldn't want to get on her bad side.

Tonberries! Oh god, they're nightmare inducing. I was going to say Malboros, since they scare me, too, but no, I think Tonberries win because I will always run away from those bastards unless I *know* I can kill them.
Also Zus, because apart from one game (I think it's IX?) they cause me nothing but aggro. No-one ever seems able to hit them and then they wipe out my team.
Day 40: Favorite Final Fantasy protagonist.
I like Zidane a heap, actually. Because he's perky and nothing gets him down (usually this would irritate me, so WTF?)

Vaan. I'd like to punch him squarely in the face. Repeatedly.

Poison/Sap. Those two are EVIL. I mean, they're awesome when you can get them to hit the enemy, but not so much when the enemy uses them on you and you have no MP and no healing items. Instant game over. Ungh.

Poison/Sap. Those two are EVIL. I mean, they're awesome when you can get them to hit the enemy, but not so much when the enemy uses them on you and you have no MP and no healing items. Instant game over. Ungh.
