Soooooo I might have downloaded Final Fantasy Record Keeper and spent all afternoon playing it?

It's just so. Nostalgic, I guess. But I had to force myself to shut it off and put my phone down.

Mind you, I also spent all morning on Brave Exvius, so I guess I just wanted to game while I felt like I could, because I miss it. I actually haven't played a console game since I wanted to throw my controller at Dark Souls, but that's partially down to awkward household dynamics right now. But Record Keeper reminded me that I really like, and really miss, playing turn-based RPGs. I mean, I think RPGs are my thing/favourite genre/whatever, but there's just something about the turn-based system that I like? (I suppose it's what I'm used. In recent years, most of what I've played is Final Fantasy, and they all use turn-based systems, so, yeah).

I'm not sure I understand really how any of the games (DFFOO/FFBE/FFRK) work, but I'm having fun playing them? I randomly pulled Kuja in BE this morning, and went out and got Tidus, Aeris, and Lightning in the beginner events in RK so, you know, I'm happy. (I wanted Vanille, but the level she's available from is a bit beyond me right now. I think. I suppose I can always try it and see).
