1. I think I have melted in the heat. Or, at least, my brain has.
2. I think I have accidentally abandoned the music meme. I didn't mean to, but it feels like forever since I did it last, and now I've lost interest.
3. Still on Saints Row. A lot of this game irritates me because it has straight male gaze plastered all over it. THAT SAID, there are some things I like:
# One is that Steelport is well inhabited, and the AI for people has them just doing...things. I see people talking on pay phones a lot, or hanging around chatting. But I've also seen them with a fire, sitting around that doing stuff. There are also now people with protest signs (the contents of which make me feel so attacked right now!), and when it rains, which it does sometimes, they get out umbrellas. I think this is one of the reasons I like driving round, because it lets me watch them doing whatever, even though they're not real.
# the way the AI handles the cars is hilarious when it all goes wrong (unless they smash into you, of course, or otherwise get in your way).
# There's a character who has a crush on Shaundi, and vocalises it, and she, essentially, tells him where to stick it. (She actually asks if she can shoot him because of how irritating she finds him, but I'm glad she's not melting into a little puddle just because he confessed his undying love). There was also another nice example of women not being doormats earlier today, but I'm buggered if I can remember it right now.
(Although if you play as a female boss, the last thing she is is a doormat. Which I am doing, and it makes me gleeful, because my main team is essentially my boss, Shaundi, Viola, and Kinzie kicking arse, with Pierce as the token man).
