don't need no-one
I am story wrangling the abominations. There are several aspects that are frustrating me, one of which I can't see a way around that doesn't feel like an asspull/deus ex machina (though to be fair, that's been bugging me since the beginning, but now I'd like to get more written, it's bugging me even more).
(I need to talk to someone about this. But the one person I'd wanted to run it by is currently cycling in France).
Also I swear to god all my alien races are going to end up based on animals worshipped by Ancient Egyptians - so far we have crocodiles and jackals (though honestly, I have no problem with that).

Music meme! (all the questions)
21: A song you can't not dance to
Shackles (Praise You) by Mary Mary (the sound quality isn't too good one this one :( )
God is God by Juno Reactor - (though to be fair most Indian/Indian-influenced music makes me want to dance - this, of course, falls into the latter category).
22: A song that breaks your heart
La Petite Fille de la Mer by Vangelis - this has always made me feel sad, but it's doubly worse when you know how the original story of the Little Mermaid ends. (Also it's from an album called L'Apocalypse Des Animaux - The Animal Apocalypse - CHEERFUL!)
23: A song that reminds you of your favorite book
I no longer have a favourite book but, for a very long time it was Good Omens, so: It's The End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine) by REM
24: A song that reminds your best friend of you
Probably this: Somebody That I Used to Know by Gotye because we're not as good friends as we used to be.
25: A song you would consider your anthem
No Good (Start The Dance) by The Prodigy - picking this for the limited lyrics (I was going to choose this for a song that reminds me of high school, but I think I can think of other things for that).
