we are trampled underfoot

# Thinking about Lightning Returns has reminded me how much I love FFXIII-2. I really do. I'm not even being sarcastic. I should finish it *eyes pile of unfinished games*

# I've been awake since 5:30 am, and on a bad night's sleep, too, so obviously I am having a fun day!

I also have a headache that feels like someone is pressing both sides of my head together so they can meet in the middle. As a result, I'm grumpier than usual. Yaaaaaaay.

# still working on my story (done some noodling here and there this week; none of it on the computer, however). I'm also thinking about another story that I like the idea of, but every time I think about writing it, my brain goes, "nope!" So I'm just going to play around with the characters sometimes and see what happens.

# I have serious webcomic envy. Almost every single one I've looked at, I've thought, "why didn't I think of that idea?!"

Also that some of them, I like the idea, but not the art. And sometimes I like the art but not the idea. It feels very strange (although in some cases, there are obviously ones where I like both things, and they're the ones I read. Apart from that time I read Kill Six Billion Demons, because the art in that was lush, but I wasn't quite getting the idea, but I did read it all to date at the time).

That letter meme is still doing the rounds, and [personal profile] dancing_serpent gave me the letter A:

Something I hate: Avocados! I think it's the texture thing, they just seem to look slimy and weird to me. Also because guacamole looks like green gack (I am sure there's people who like it, some of you may be reading this, but I feel the same way about creamed peas/pea soup, and I love peas).

Something I love: Apricots. I think I could eat apricot jam daily and not get sick of it.

Somewhere I've been: Addingham, which is a small town in West Yorks. Dad took me, and all I remember about it is the church and the graveyard (but I was about ten at the time, so not really surprised). Lest you think this is weird, my dad was big into genealogy, thus visited a lot of graveyards looking for dead rellies. Which was very exciting for a ten year old, as you can imagine [/sarcasm]

Somewhere I'd like to go: Oooh, I don't know! Austria? Because German practice?

Someone I know: my friend Angie (she's the super-organised one. She says she isn't, but she's lying).

A film I like: Anna and the King, which is a non-musical version of the same story as The King and I (which is one of my fave films). It has Jodie Foster and Chow Yun-Fat in it, and I love it because I love that story anyway.

A book I like: Archer's Goon, by Diana Wynne-Jones. It is a story about an ordinary family to whom weird things happen. (It's way better than I just made it sound, though).
