I keep wanting to apologise for the amount of Jojos on my reblog blog and twitter but NO. NO I WILL NOT. Because it is amusing me and making me happy and if you want me to stop that, I will freaking fight you. So. I think it's terrible that we seem to have to apologise for clearly enjoying stuff.
Meanwhile, JJBA update:
I was going to say there should be a collection of Jotaro's unimpressed faces. But that's it. That's the entirety of part three. - nearly almost true.
Good grief I think Jotaro is actually smiling on this cover.
OMFG THIS COMIC. I can't take it anymore. - I can't even remember what this was in response to. Possibly the Vanilla Ice fight, possibly not. I know it had nothing to do with Dio.
No fair there is a Joseph action figure and I don't have the fifty quid to buy it. - Joseph is my fave Jojo so far, but since I haven't even finished part 4 yet, I am holding off on saying it for sure. Anyway, I really want this action figure and £50 spare quid to blow on it.
Wow, this last bit of Stardust Crusaders is a perfect example of Talking Is A Free Action. Oh man. - the entirety of the final fight takes FOUR MINUTES. It takes, like, five times that to read it.
Just imagine I'm reading this and seal clapping my hands in glee because that is what I am, in fact, doing. - YES BECAUSE FUCK YOU DIO. I really really liked that final fight it was THE BOMB.
I was kind of lukewarm on Jotaro till now.
Wow man, you don't want to mess with Josuke's mum. - so I started reading part four pretty much straight off. I don't know if that was a bad idea or not but eh I am too far in to care now.
"that little brat and his sexy mum". Um. What. #outofcontextjojo
So glad I don't have art class any more b/c Jojo is inspiring me to twist my body in strange ways & photo the results.
Although iirc, I've done some weirdly bendy stuff before. Also post-college.
I say I'm glad I'm not at college because I would dread explaining the inspiration to my tutors.
Esp the one who pretty much knew I was nuts about Japan and comics. - because he had pretty stereotyped views on Japanese stuff and it irritated me a lot.
Do you have to be shot in the head with a stand arrow for it to work? (can't remember where Koichi got hit) - the answer to this question is no, because later on Yukako says she was shot in the stomach. But it still validates my point about whose stand The World is.
There's a bit of Princes of the Universe that fits Dio to a T and I just freaking cracked up.
I am out in town, and probably nobody knows why I just started grinning like a loon.
Also thinking about a playlist for the end of Stardust Crusaders. Got three tracks so far.
I just passed the bit in part 4 with the Italian restaurant, and I'm still not sure WTH I just read. - every time I think this comic has stopped making me go, "WTH, Araki?", that exact thing happens. Huh.
Rohan, what the heck are you wearing.
My Jojo OTP is Josuke and his hair. - I follow
jojo_60mindraw, and the last prompt I saw was OTP. So I sat, and I thought, and this is my answer (for now).
♬Oh what a beautiful Duwang, oh what a beautiful day ♬ - I can't believe they left that (the "what a beautiful Duwang") in from the Duwang scanlations. But they did, and I got earwormed after I read it.
Good grief, Rohan's actually being useful.
Ho shit, I didn't realise Rohan's earrings were pen nibs. That's an awesome detail! - thanks fanart, you pointed me out a thing :)
So notes that are not tweets (because I try to avoid dishing out spoilers on twitter in case someone accidentally reads them):
# I cried at ALL THREE DEATHS in Stardust Crusaders, even though I'd been spoilt for Abdul's and Kakyoin's (THANKS TUMBLR). I also cried at the end, even though it was happy because Dio was dead and Joseph wasn't.
# I've been spoilt for a death in Diamond is Unbreakable because THANKS TUMBLR. IDK if anyone else bites it, but I DON'T WANT TO.
# I like part four because aside from it being creepy at times, it's mostly just Josuke and Okuyasu being teenaged dork boys and I love that.
# Also I think this is the most Jotaro's talked, ever.
# Joseph being super old makes me sad. I kind of want to hug him and pat his head (provided I could reach it. I bet even as an old man he'd be WAY taller than me).
# I have nothing else to add (because I can't remember it), except the following:
# Persona 4 is essentially Part 4 but with personae not stands, amirite?
(I was going to post this on tumblr but a) don't really have a personal blog and b) I thought I'd get crucified so NO).
(also yeah I know it's not, but there are so many similarities).
