and if you pray

I will have to write this quickly because I want to go downstairs and watch the Crystal Maze in a few minutes, so apologies for typos/lack of grammar/anything else. Also bugger, I forgot to tape Knightmare. *sighs*

So remember I've been having trouble with Flickr since forever ago? Well, I have. The share icon has not been showing up on my photostream, or anyone else's since they updated the way the stream works (probably even since the overhaul/space upgrade, but I don't know. It's some time ago and my memory's fuzzy. All I know is I've had trouble with it since forever ago).

So instead of getting mad at myself about it, I got mad at Flickr, and submitted an error report. And oh my fucking god, what a palaver that was. I was not kind to them in the customer survey they asked me to fill in about my experiences - pretty much "no, I would not recommend this to a friend even if they were on fire and it would miraculously save their life". I tend to forget how shitty Yahoo can be until they mess something up, because when they mess up, they tend to do it big-style (although not as badly as, say, LJ, but even so).

They said it was more than likely not a fault with them, and I could I try all these things, and if one of them worked, yay. Actually it wasn't a fault with them. It is, I assume, a bug in the Linux version of Firefox since: 1. I can see the share icon on a Windows PC running Firefox and 2. I can also see it in Chromium.

I am thinking of submitting a bug report to Mozilla, but haven't managed it yet (after last week AND all this stress for no reason, I'm not really in the mood for it). I don't know if it will do any good or whatever, or if it's just some quirk of my PC (entirely possible).

But anyway. The point of this was kind of that y'all need to brace yourselves for some picspams, and at least I figured out what was going wrong and a way around it!

You didn't miss anything - for some reason they didn't show Knightmare - replaced with Blockbusters. I am spitting tacks.
