horrible embarrassing artwork within

Beware, this entry contains art by yours truly that is approximately 20 years old (so I would've been about 11 or 12 at the time I made it). It will probably make your eyeballs bleed. Or make you laugh because it is truly awful. And it is, TRULY AWFUL.

But part of the point of this post is so you can point me back here when I am having one of those moments where I'm convinced I can't actually draw and/or paint.

(I don't know why I put my sig on these, because seriously, who on earth would want to steal them?)

She has got arms, but you can't really see them, since I decided yellow on yellow was a good idea.

I still can't draw horses, but I make a better job of them than this now (I think!)

I vaguely remember doing this one, because I remember doing the angels. The look on the devil's face makes me lol.

I still kind of like these cats.

I don't know if this is a sunrise or a sunset. Whatever. I went through a phase of doing paintings with sunsets that lasted several years. Evidently it lasted at least till I went to high school.

I remembered the reason I made all these paintings - I wanted badly to impress my art teacher with how wonderful I was (*snerk*). But they never made it any further than my bedroom door. So. You guys are the first people (aside from my mother) to set eyes on these.

Spent the day backing up and sorting out my computer. And drawing! Lots and lots of drawing!

Including this:

Nightmare Trees

Obviously I am still not past crappy gradient backgrounds. Sigh.
