I would like to make it known that I officially hate Atlus. I may have mentioned this at some point before. After all, Atlus, as a company, seem to be an exercise in frustration.
Although I will say that the fight versus Nyx is a hundred percent easier than versus Izanami. Both of them are cheating bastards, but Nyx cheats slightly less than Izanami does.
But twice today, I have been *this* close to finishing off Nyx, and getting the end of the game, and blah blah blah, and what does she do? Casts Night Queen, someone ends up charmed, and then she beats the crap out of my dudes while I sit there and basically cry. The first time it happened, I growled so loudly that I'm sure they heard me at the other end of the street. I also threw the controller in frustration (doesn't happen often - the only other occasion I can remember is the final fight vs Evrae in FFX).
I'm going to do it, though. I am determined. (Though the real reason I want to finish it is a) Monad and b) New Game Plus).

In other news, I ordered SMT III and also Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (ugh, I can't even think how I am going to tag that...) I also saw that Echoes of Time is out, but I thought there's only so much I can spend on games in one go, and that I'd hold out until I'd played at least some of Ring of Fates to see if I liked it or not.
Amazon says I might have them as soon as Wednesday! \o/
